I've been getting some help with the issue below on this thread but, despite great efforts from a few, I have had no luck solving so I thought I'd add here.
Looking for some help.
I recently purchased an ASUS AC88U to replace my FritzBox 7390.
I was using a VOIP service over the 7390 with no issues, however since installing the AC88U I would like to use the 7390 as an ATA (for connecting a non-voip, DECT cordless phone).
Unfortunately, I cannot get the set up to work for VOIP.
Current connection setup: Modem --> (WAN) AC88U (LAN) --> (LAN1) 7390 (FON1) --> Phone
I have been speaking to both Fritz and Asus with no success – Fritz were helpful but reached a point where they believe that device is correctly set up, however Asus have been useless, sending me little to no information. Worse, when the did send me info, either the attachments were missing or the information was pointless (and didn't work).
It'd be great if there was anyone out there who could help?
I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
