Shark NV360 Lift-Away Deluxe NV360: Old, But Still Gold in 2021

Shark NV360 is quite a monument. Although it has been years since it was first released by Shark, it still remains very popular.

So, how does it fare in 2021?

In short: it is still the golden standard for budget-friendly upright vacuums in 2021. Performance is still as strong as ever. The overall design — though, admittedly, looks a bit dated — remains quite comfortable in the hand as well as maneuverable.

That’s the basics. Now, let’s dive deeper!

Cleaning Performance

When we revisited the Shark NV360 vacuum in 2021, it still managed to surprise us at just how strong the suction power is.

With such a strong vacuum flow, the NV360 was able to suck up most dirt and small debris (rice grains) on hardwood. However, the vacuum struggles quite a bit against pet hair and large debris.

But where the Shark vacuum model NV360 truly shines, though, is in its carpet-cleaning performance. On both low-pile and high-pile carpets, this Shark vacuum could suck up anything ranging from pet hair all the way to large debris.

Pet hair, in particular, is its strong suit. When we tested the vacuum on both kinds of carpets, the NV360 sucked up 100% of hair strands! For pet owners out there, this is a very good sign.

Overall Design

Aesthetically, the vacuum doesn’t look very good. It has a bulky, industrial design that belongs more to the early 2000s than 2021.

The vacuum is as heavy as it looks. At a whopping 14.3 pounds, it is not a very portable vacuum cleaner. Fortunately, there is an integrated carrying handle on the unit to help make you move it around more easily.

An excellent design feature that the Shark navigator lift away deluxe NV360 has is the Lift-Away mode. It allows you to convert it from an upright to a handheld vacuum with only the push of a button. In its handheld form, NV360 is a lot more portable and flexible. You can easily clean cramped spaces such as the interior of a car with it!

Power Cord

The vacuum has a fairly short power cord at 25 feet. You will be able to clean small to medium-size spaces with it. But for larger spaces, you may need to use an extension cord.

Dust Cup

Like many other uprights, the Shark Navigator Lift-Away NV360 has a sizable dust cup, capable of storing 1 dry quart of debris. There is a fill-up line on the cup to mark its maximum capacity.

Emptying the vacuum is a very simple task. You won’t have a lot of trouble doing it.

Air Filtering

The air filtering system on the Shark Lift Away Deluxe NV360 is excellent. There is a High-Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filter on-board. The HEPA filter can take out even the smallest of particles like airborne bacteria.

Additionally, if there are allergy sufferers in your house, you will be glad to know that the Shark 360 vacuum comes with Shark’s Anti Allergen Complete Seal technology. Basically, it prevents allergen and dangerous particles from leaking out of the vacuum and back into your home.

Accessories

The vacuum comes with a decent selection of accessories. You have a turbo brush, a crevice tool, and an upholstery tool from right out of the box.

Conclusion

Like we said at the very beginning of these Shark NV360 Reviews, the vacuum still holds up really well in 2021. So, if you are on the fence about buying this upright vacuum, this is your greenlight to put an order in!

We’re confident that you will come to love this vacuum cleaner.
